It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.  Hebrews 10:31

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.  John 14:1

Agnosticism is the belief that the existence of GOD is impossible to be known, verified or proven.  The word "agnostic" essentially means "without knowledge."  Agnosticism is actually a more intellectually honest form of atheism.  Atheism claims that GOD does not exist which is an improvable position.  Agnosticism argues that GOD's existence cannot be proven or unproven. Therefore it is impossible to know whether GOD exists, or not. 

The Bible tells us that we must accept by faith that GOD exists.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  Hebrews 11:6

GOD is spirit so He cannot be seen or touched. 

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.  John 4:24

Unless GOD chooses to reveal Himself, He is essentially invisible to our senses.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  Romans 1:20

The Bible instructs that the existence of GOD can be clearly seen in the universe.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.  Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.  There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.  Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, Psalm 19:1-4

His presence can be sensed in nature.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  Romans 1:18-22

His tangibility is confirmed in our own hearts.

He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.  Ecclesiastes 3:11

Agnosticism is essentially the unwillingness to make a decision either for or against GOD's existence. It is the ultimate "riding the fence" position.  Theists believe that GOD exists.  Atheists believe that GOD does not exist.  Agnostics believe that we shouldn't believe or disbelieve in GOD's existence, because it is impossible to know either way.

For the sake of argument, let's toss out any clear and undeniable evidences of GOD's existence that we might possess.  If we put the positions of theism versus atheism and agnosticism on equal footing, which makes the most "sense" to believe with regard to the possibility of life after death?  If there is no GOD, theists, atheists and agnostics alike, by their own reckoning, all simply cease to exist when they die.  If there is a GOD, atheists and agnostics will have a "Someone" to answer to, or stand before, when they die.  From this perspective, it definitely makes more "sense" to be a theist than an atheist or agnostic.  If none of the above persuasions can be either proven or disproven, it seem expedient to make every effort to believe in the position that may have an infinitely and eternally more desirable end result.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.  Revelation 20:12

It is normal to have doubts. There are so many things in this world that we do not understand. Often people doubt GOD's existence because they do not understand or agree with the things He does and allows. However, we as finite human beings should not expect to be able to comprehend an infinite GOD.

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!  How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!  For who hath known the mind of the Lord?  Or who hath been his counselor?  Romans 11:33-34

We must believe in GOD by faith and trust His ways by faith.   Believe it or not, GOD is ready and willing to reveal Himself in amazing ways to those who will believe in Him. 

But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. Deuteronomy 4:29

Are you in a risky and precarious position?  Do you believe that GOD does not exist?  Do you believe that GOD does exist in some form and you will be able to plead your case, later after death?  Do you believe your existence and consciousness will end at death?  If GOD does exist, what does He require?  Are you safe?  Is there a chance you will be sorry, later?

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.  But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.  I and my Father are one.  John 10:25-30

No one else is responsible for your fate and destiny, except you.

Admit you are a sinner.

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:  Romans 3:10

Be willing to turn from sin.  This is called repentance.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.  Acts 17:30

Believe that Jesus died for you, was buried and rose from the dead.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  Romans 10:9-10

Invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Savior and Lord.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Romans 10:13

Get out of the risky position you live in every day of you life.

If you are in doubt as to your condition, or what to do, please pray the following."GOD Almighty, I am a sinner and need forgiveness.  I believe that Jesus shed His blood and died for my sin.  I desire and am most willing to turn from sin.  I now invite Jesus into my heart and life as my personal Savior".

If you prayed that prayer, the angels in heaven just rejoiced!

Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.  Luke 15:10

You are no longer in a risky position.  You are safer than you have ever been before.  You just made GOD Himself responsible for your destiny and fate!  Think about that for a while, and then rejoice!
