Israel Faces Threat of Gaza Conflict Spreading to Northern Frontier With Lebanon
Telegraph.co.uk
Palestinian fighters based in southern Lebanon may be preparing to retaliate for the assault on Gaza by striking across the border and opening a second front against Israel. This would mark a major escalation, possibly provoking an Israeli invasion of Lebanon and a regional war. Hizbollah, which controls most of southern Lebanon, has amassed perhaps as many as 40,000 missiles for use against Israel. But this arsenal, largely supplied by Iran, is probably being held in reserve to retaliate for any future Israeli or American assault on Tehran. The question is whether this would reignite the war between Hizbollah and Israel.
HAMAS Legalizes the Crucifixion of Christians and Other Enemies
Right Side News
Reading the Jewish World Review today, Christians better wake-up as Hamas is bringing back the “crucifixion” of Christians, Jews and anyone else who does not conform to their ideology. Hamas wants to kill them by nailing them to crosses and they call Jesus Christ the “slave of Allah”. Both Iran and its Hamas proxy in Gaza have been busy this Christmas week showing Christendom just what they think of it. But no one seemed to have noticed.
Report: More Than 100 Hacked to Death in Congo Church Massacre
Fox News
Attackers hacked to death scores of people who sought refuge at a Catholic church in remote eastern Congo the day after Christmas, officials and witnesses said Monday, and the Ugandan army and a rebel group accused each other of carrying out the massacre. Survivors and witnesses said the killings occurred close to Congo’s border with Sudan, near to where the armies of those two countries and Uganda began an offensive this month to root out the rebel Lord’s Resistance Army, according to Ugandan army spokesman Capt. Chris Magezi. A U.N. spokesman, Ivo Brandau, said 120 homes were set ablaze in the area and that thousands of people have fled for fear of further attacks.

Anti-Theist: Christianity is Bad for the World
Christian Post
A best-selling atheist author claims that Christianity not only falsely takes credit for good in the world, but actually promotes immorality. In a recent debate against a Christian scholar and pastor, Christopher Hitchens argued against the idea that Christianity is accountable for the spreading of moral principles such as how it is wrong to murder and steal.
The author of God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything also said there was a moral code similar to the “Golden Rule” in place even before Moses received the Ten Commandments. “It appears that these values (murder, theft, perjury are wrong and courage and self-sacrifice are admirable) are universal and innate,” said Hitchens in a video posted on the Christian Broadcasting Network news web site on Friday. “And they also predate – well I wouldn’t say they predate all religion because there has always been some kind of religion – but they certainly predate monotheism and they certainly predate Christianity.”
