IAF Practicing MIG-29-F-16 Dogfights
www.jpost.com
Israel Air Force test pilots are flying MIG 29 jets and conducting dogfights against the IAF’s F-16 fighters, Channel 2 revealed Wednesday evening. The MIG 29, developed by the soviets in the 1970s, is one of the best fighter jets used by eastern and Arab countries, as well as by Syria and Iran. It was developed to counter American-made jets such the F-16 or F/A-18.
The jets were loaned to Israel by an unnamed foreign country. The experiment is meant to prepare IAF pilots for missions where they might have to fight a foreign air-force. “We tested them – we trained the IAF pilots against them,” an unnamed IAF official said.
The IAF employs ten test pilots. The training of each costs about a million dollars, but the experience gleaned from the test pilots, the unnamed official said, “is priceless.”…more…
America’s Moral Senility

How badly does America really need an “openly gay” or lesbian Supreme Court justice?
There must be some sense out there that our country needs this, or assorted pundits and politicians wouldn’t be suggesting it. Probably His Messiahship’s first Supreme Court appointment won’t be Perez Hilton, if only because there are other groups he’ll want to pander to before he gets around to “gay.” But he might try to find somebody who lights up several lamps at once, like maybe a black lesbian single mother in a wheelchair who is here illegally from Mexico.
Suddenly everybody’s talking about the Supreme Court as if its function were to represent every minority group in America—or at least the noisy ones—and, on their behalf, get back at all the “oppressors” who done ‘em wrong, over the centuries. Supreme Court justices, according to the Big Blather in the White House, are to have “empathy” for all these groups, historically ill used and hard done-by. His court is to be a court that sticks up for the underdog and sticks it to Mr. Fat Cat Businessman. And all the boobs in Congress and the media said, “Amen!”
As wicked as it is for any court to be stacked for some citizens and against others, let’s get back to the matter of a “gay” Supreme Court justice.
With a straight face, one commentator after another, all of them occupying well-paid and responsible positions, has proposed that the next justice of the United States Supreme court be chosen on the basis of his taste for aberrant sexual practices. Will that come up in hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee? Will the nominee be asked to prove he’s genuinely homosexual? After all, we don’t want someone pretending to be “gay” just so he can get a lifelong seat on the Supreme Court. Maybe he could show the Senate videotapes of his erotic exercises…more…
More of the Inconvenient Truth

No matter how you cut it, I am an outcast. To the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), I am a right-wing extremist. I am suspect because I am pro-life, pro-family, anti-illegal immigration, pro-U.S. sovereignty, study the end-times and thus might be part of the militia movement, and I trust returning war vets. Thankfully, DHS head, Janet Napolitano, gave a partial apology to the last mentioned.
But now I fall into another guilty category: I am a friend of Israel, also known as a Christian Zionist. Church of England priest Stephen Sizer has written another vitriolic book, this time titled, Zion’s Christian Soldiers. Suggesting we are like the Crusaders, Sizer warns that pro-Israel U.S. evangelicals have monstrously distorted the Middle East by aligning America with Israel. Sizer states,
“In its worst forms, Christian Zionism uses the Bible to justify racial superiority, land expropriation, colonial settlements, the denial of international law, and the dehumanization of Arabs.”
Unfortunately Sizer represents a more conservative wing of the Church of England and thus has a platform in places he should not. One such platform is the radio program of the so-called “Bible Answerman” Hank Hanegraaff. Hank is adept in some areas of apologetics and has a radio audience in the millions. Christians who call his daily program remind him that he has revolutionized their spiritual life…more…
Abdullah to Relay Message From Assad

Arab official with ties in Damascus, Amman says PM Netanyahu to receive message on renewal of talks with Syria from Jordanian king.
Ynet has learned from an Arab source that Syrian President Bashar Assad plans to relay a message to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding Syria’s position on the continuation of indirect dialogue with Israel.
The message in question was recently communicated to King Abdullah II of Jordan, who will in turn share the information with Netanyahu during a possible visit by the prime minister to theHashemite Kingdom prior to his scheduled trip to Washington this coming Saturday.
King Abdullah was quoted earlier this week as warning that in the absence of regional peace the world stands to see severe conflict ensue in the Middle East within the next year and a half…more…
New York: State Assembly Says Okay to Gay Marriage; Fate Rests With Senate
www.nydailynews.com
The state Assembly gave its approval to same-sex marriage Tuesday night but the issue’s fate in remains uncertain. New York”What we are doing is legislating civil, and I do mean civil rights,” said Assemblyman Matthew Tittone, a Staten Island Democrat who is gay. “I am not looking for the right to force the Pope to preside over my big fat gay wedding.”
Critics charged that the legislation, which was introduced by Gov. Paterson last month, would undermine traditional marriage and force religious institutions that run public facilities – such as dormitories and catering halls – to accept gay couples.
“The issue to me is the bible, the Torah,” said Assemblyman Dov Hikind, D-Brooklyn. “It is about God. It is about what I believe God wants.”
