Great Britain Raises Terror Attack Level To ‘Severe’
nuggetnetreview.com
The British Government has raised its terror threat level to “severe”, indicating concern that an attack is “highly likely.”
Home Secretary Alan Johnson said on Friday there was no intelligence suggesting that an attack was imminent, but that intelligence officials have picked up information leading them to believe terrorists may be planning something.
Johnson said Britain continues to face a real and serious threat from international terrorism and urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to authorities.
The decision to raise the alert level came following a recommendation by the nation’s Joint Terrorism Analysis Center (JTAC).
Britain has five threat levels for vigilance against terrorist attack, ranging from “low” to “critical.” “Severe” is the second highest on the scale.
A variety of top government officials and dignitaries, including from Afghanistan, are expected to attend a terrorism conference late next week in London.
Tensions High at Israeli-Lebanese Border

A new report said that Hezbollah has tightened security measures along the border with Israel as Tel Aviv beefs up its forces along the northern frontier.
Citing Lebanese sources, the London-based A-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper reported Friday that Israeli troops were called up to the northern borders to carry out “military maneuvers.”
According to the report, the resistance movement put its forces on high alert to retaliate in the event of “surprise attack” by Israel.
The daily quoted a Hezbollah source as saying that “Israel has accustomed us to aggression and we are used to being vigilant and on the lookout all the time. That is what we are doing.”
The source, however, did not confirm the security alert on border. The paper said Syria had also called up reservist soldiers, including Syrian natives residing in Lebanon.
A senior Israeli army officer, however, denied reports about an upcoming military drill along the border. He also denied any plan to attack Lebanon.
Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem warned Thursday of an Israeli attack, which could place at any time.
“The resistance is preparing and working persistently in order to face such a possibility, whether it was delayed or sudden at any given moment,” Lebanon’s Naharnet quoted him as saying.
In 2006, Israel fought the 33-day war to destroy Hezbollah’s military power but eventually left southern Lebanon without achieving any of its objectives.
Hitler’s Final Solution Continues Against the Jews Today

The path to Hitler’s “final solution to the Jewish question” has branched and deviated since his death, but it’s fundamental principle remains the same.
Antisemitism did not end with WWII, and it’s seen a fresh resurgence in recent years. While some might have you believe that talk of antisemitism is merely a ploy on the part of Jews to divert attention or curry some advantage, the threat it poses cannot be ignored.
In an age of rogue nations armed with WMD, a worldwide Islamic jihad and the resurgence of various hard-left and hard-right militias, how long before someone will successfully enact Hitler’s ‘final solution’?
Saudi Arabia’s Secret Nuke Stash

Pakistan’s nuclear weapons project was partially financed by Saudi Arabia, with the two countries sharing nuclear technology, a senior Egyptian security official told WND.
“The Saudis are confident they have a nuclear option via Pakistan,” said the security official. “The Pakistani nukes are also Saudi nukes.”
The official said an agreement between the two countries was secretly inked seven years ago, although at the time such a pact was strongly denied by both Saudi and Pakistani officials.
Pakistan in the late 1990s became the seventh country to successfully develop and test nuclear weapons. The Pakistani arsenal is estimated at between 35 and 95 warheads, according to the U.S. Navy Center for Contemporary Conflict.

London-based al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper says Shiite organization has instructed its men to take ‘general precautions’, Syria recruiting reserve soldiers residing in Lebanon
Hezbollah has raised the alert level among its fighters due to maneuvers conducted by the Israel Defense Forces in northern Israel, London-based Arabic-language al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper reported Friday.
According to the report, the Shiite organization has instructed its men to take “general precautionary measures” for fear of a sudden Israeli attack targeting Hezbollah’s headquarters and post.
An organization source told the newspaper, “Thanks to Israel we have gotten accustomed to aggression, and we have gotten Israel accustomed to be on guard and to being ambushed, and this is what we’ll do.”
