United States Secretary of State Says That Jewish Communities in Biblical Lands Are Illegitimate
prophecytoday.com

On her travels to the Middle East to work on the peace process, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told Arab leaders that Israeli settlements, Jewish communities, in Judea and Samaria, lands that belonged to the Jewish people thousands of years ago, that these Jewish communities now located in this land are illegitimate and they should be halted forever. The Secretary said that the United States would like to see the end of all settlement activity current, future, and forever.

Jimmy’s Prophetic Prospective on the News

The claim that Jewish communities in Biblical lands are illegitimate completely ignores history and the scenario for the future as revealed in Bible prophecy.

Since the Six Day War in 1967 Jews have been living in the land of their forefathers, the land referred to as the West Bank but known in Israel and to the Jewish families living there as Judea and Samaria. Though the Jews inhabited this land 3500 years ago, they returned to the area for the military purpose of setting up a buffer zone between Israel and the nations that tried to eliminate Israel in that Six Day War. Jews from all over the world have been coming back to their homeland for over 100 years and many of them, especially the religious Jews, believe this return was promised by God and foretold by the ancient Jewish prophets. For the United States to say these Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria are illegitimate and must be halted forever is a total contradiction of history.

Mashaal: If IDF attacks Gaza Again, Hamas Will Turn Israel Into a Cemetery

Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal on Friday warned Israel against further strikes on the Gaza Strip, according to an Israel Radio report.

If Israel attacks again, Mashaal was quoted as saying, Gaza will not be defeated, and will instead turn into a “cemetery.”

Speaking during a meeting with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman and Lebanese Prime Minister Sa’ad Haririr, the Hamas leader also called on Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to restart reconciliation talks between rival Palestinian factions. Hamas and Fatah must “turn over a new page,” he said.

Regarding Egypt’s construction of a wall along its border with the Strip, Mashaal said, “Walls are built between enemies, not between brothers.”

Erasing Ezekiel’s Jewish Identity

For centuries Jews, Christians and Muslims came to Al-Kifl, a small town south of Baghdad, to visit the tomb of the Prophet Ezekiel and pray.

The distinctive Jewish character of the Al-Kifl shrine, namely the Hebrew inscriptions and the Torah Ark, never bothered the gentile worshipers. In the 14th century a minaret was built next to the shrine, but the interior design remained Jewish. The vast majority of Iraq’s Jewish community left some 60 years ago, but Shi’ites took good care of the holy site.

Until now.

Recently “Ur,” a local Iraqi news agency, reported that a huge mosque will be built on top of the grave by Iraq’s Antiquities and Heritage Authority, while Hebrew inscriptions and ornaments are being removed from the site, all as part of renovations.

Prof. Shmuel Moreh of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, winner of the 1999 Israel Prize in Middle Eastern studies and chairman of the Association of Jewish Academics from Iraq, speaking to The Jerusalem Post on Wednesday, confirmed the report.

“I first heard the news of tomb desecration from a friend of mine who is a German scholar. After visiting the site he called me and said that some Hebrew inscriptions on the grave were covered by plaster and that a mosque is planned to be built on top of the tomb. He told me that he found the changes at the tomb disturbing and warned me that I’d better act quickly, before any irreversible damage will be inflicted,” Moreh said.

Obama’s TSA Nominee Characterized Groups That Were Domestic Security Threats as ‘Anti-Abortion’ and Having ‘Christian Identity’

Erroll Southers, who President Barack Obama has nominated to head the Transportation Security Administration, described groups that were a domestic security threat as being “anti-abortion” and “Christian-identity oriented.”

The TSA, an element of the Department of Homeland Security, is responsible for the security of the nation’s transportation systems, including commercial air travel. Southers made the remarks in question in a 2008 video interview with the Videojug.com Web site.

In the interview, Southers was asked whether there were “groups inside the United States that pose a danger to our security?”

“Domestically speaking, a large part, most of the groups we have here in the United States, are white supremacists groups, World Church of the Creator, National Alliance, Aryan Nations. There are some black separatist groups,” said Southers. “What’s interesting about those groups is you find that they are usually either Christian identity groups and/or groups that really have a foothold in our correctional or prison systems in the way of radicalization and recruiting.”

Cheaper to Abort – But at What Later Cost
www.onenewsnow.com

According to an executive with Planned Parenthood, insurance companies prefer paying for abortion rather than allowing a baby to be born because it is viewed as the cheaper approach.

John Nugent, the chief executive officer of Baltimore’s Planned Parenthood, told Forbes magazine that insurance companies prefer funding abortions because they can be purchased for about $400, while delivering the child costs between $6,000 and $8,500. Jim Sedlak of American Life League says this news is not surprising.

“If all you’re interested in is money, [then] killing the baby earlier makes you money,” he agrees. “Killing the baby rather than letting it get born saves you money.”

While that view may be true for the present, Sedlak adds that there is an important factor Nugent and abortion-minded firms in the industry are forgetting.

“The insurance companies don’t take into account that once born, that new human being may one day become a customer of the insurance company and pay back in much more than they spent on the delivery,” he notes. “But nobody wants to see that, and it is one of the major dangers of this healthcare bill rushing through Congress because the same thing is going to apply at the end of life.”
