What a delightful story in the news last week, Hillary Clinton chatting with Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak. She was doing damage-control after also visiting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu; “Bibi” told Madame Secretary that Israel would “restrain” the building in the West Bank, but not halt it; it’s a parsing of words, the spin that politicians use.
At the time, Clinton hailed it as progress, but when she learned that the Arabs were upset (a perpetual state of being for the cousins of the Jews), she hurried to then condemn Israel. She said that the United States is opposed to settlement building in the disputed lands, and wanted it stopped “forever.”
As I have many times when I listened to diplomats blather, I thought of Amos 9:15, in which God says that in the last days, He will return the Jews to their land, where they’ll remain “forever.”

New Palestinian State to Emerge

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet this evening with President Obama this evening to discuss the immediate formation of a Palestinian State, with [East] Jerusalem as its capital.
The meeting comes on the heels of reports that President Obama has pledged his support to Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad for a unilateral Palestinian declaration of independence and the confinement of Israel to its 1967 borders. At the meeting, Mr. Obama is expected to employ a carrot and stick technique to exact Mr. Netanyahu’s acceptance of plans for the new “Palestine.”
The carrot:
The United States, according to reports, will “allow” the sovereign State of Israel defend itself against Iran without the fear of counterattack by US forces in the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean.
The stick:

UK Homosexualist Group: Public Sex is an Important Part of Gay Community

OutRage!, a militant U.K. homosexual ‘rights’ group, is insisting that homosexual sex in public places, a practice known as ‘cruising,’ should be tolerated by police. According to PinkNews.com, a U.K. homosexual news source, the group has said that cruising is “an important part of the gay community and cannot be ignored,” in the words of the reporter.
The canal area in Manchester has long been a popular spot for cruising, but PinkNews reports that the area has been built up, resulting in more complaints from local people. In response, the Manchester police have begun patrolling the area more diligently, and potential ‘cruisers’ are being warned that they could face arrest.
OutRage! is calling for a “sensible, long-term and fair approach” to the issue, recommending tolerated ‘cruising areas.’
“The area that we’re talking about, cruising is tolerated unofficially,” OutRage! member David Henry told PinkNews. “But there is quite a lot of anger in the gay community about how it’s being handled.”
He claims that homosexuals have been “victimised and singled out,” attributing police actions to “homophobia.”
“We’d like other agencies such as the police and council to get behind this concept [of tolerated gay cruising areas],” he said. “There are other places, such as Brighton and Blackpool, possibly also Liverpool, where this is in place.”
Henry admitted that ‘cruising areas’ are more inviting to married men and others who are not openly homosexual, but said this is not the case “as much as it used to be in the past.”…more…

Secret Obama Deal for Palestinian State

The U.S. is considering adopting a unilateral Palestinian declaration of independence in the West Bank and Jerusalem regardless of negotiations with the Jewish state, according to Israeli sources speaking to Israel’s Haaretz newspaper.
WND first reported in September that according to a top Palestinian Authority official, the Obama administration has largely adopted the positions of the PA to create a Palestinian state within two years based on the pre-1967 borders, meaning Israel would retreat from most of the West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem.
WND reported that the White House had accepted the positions of Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad, who had quietly called for a state on the pre-1967 borders within two years.
Now Haaretz is quoting reports indicating that Fayyad has reached a secret understanding with the Obama administration over U.S. recognition of an independent Palestinian state.
Haaretz quoted Israeli sources stating Fayyad’s plan specifies that at the end of a designated period for bolstering national institutions, the PA, in conjunction with the Arab League, would file a “claim of sovereignty” to the United Nations Security Council and General Assembly over the 1967 borders…more…
