D-Day for Israel’s Future

Decisions that may determine the eventual demise or survival of Israel as a state will be set in motion in the tense meetings between President Barak Obama and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
Despite the fact that the Palestinians have not kept one agreement that was part of the Oslo Accords and later the Road Map to Peace plan, the Obama Administration is set to apply maximum pressure upon Netanyahu to agree to a Palestinian state that includes all land within the Pre June-1967 borders.
The Palestinians were given a perfect opportunity to prove that they could live side by side in peace with Israel when they were given possession of Gaza and the freedom to govern it. Hundreds of millions of dollars were contributed to them to build an economic infra-structure so that their people would have work.
But just look at the historic record of how they used the opportunity:
- Their leaders used the money for themselves and to smuggle weapons and terrorist fighters into Gaza.
- They sent suicide bombers in with their workers who had to work in Israel because they were incapable of building their own industries.
- They bought and smuggled in rockets and missiles with which they continually bombarded the entire civilian Israeli population that are within range.
- They overwhelmingly elected Hamas, a terrorist regime, to be their government.
- All Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza refuse to recognize Israel has a right to exist and that it is a Jewish State…more…

A reader suggested this week that I write a piece on Replacement Theology and Preterism. Good idea!
This sick worldview is the bane of the Christian world right now, especially in the United States. In short, Replacement Theology suggests that God is finished with the nation of Israel and the Jews, and has “transferred” those promises to “the Church.” Preterism is a close cousin and alleges that “end-times” events were fulfilled almost exclusively with the Roman destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70.
It boggles my mind to weekly find new adherents of these unscriptural views. Of course, Replacement/Preterist folks accuse us of holding unscriptural views. Subsequently, we must determine what we believe about Scripture and whether allegory and symbolism rule over the plain-sense meaning of Scripture. Also be alerted to the fact that even “plain-sense meaning” is analyzed, parsed, and twisted in this new culture that questions what “is is.”…more…

16 April 2009: There are innumerable commentators who have discussed at length the identification of the nations comprising the Gog/Magog confederation which comes against Israel in the “latter days.” I will simply cite the Table of Nations found in Genesis 10 and provide the reader with this incredible map which graphically illustrates the distribution of the descendants of Noah. Those nations and their modern equivalents can be quickly located on this map.
In the concluding paragraph in Part 3 of this series, it was stated that another result of the War of Psalm 83 will be to precipitate the subsequent War of Gog/Magog so chillingly detailed in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 attended by destruction of Russia, Iran, Turkey, Libya, Sudan and a host of smaller Caucasian and Central Asian nations who will be drawn to their fates along with the enigmatic “Gog.” In consideration of the “who” and “when” aspects having been fairly well identified by so many commentators, this section will look at some other specific details concerning the “what,” “where” and “why” aspects of Ezekiel’s 2600-year old Divinely inspired prophecy.

Gog-Magog Materializing

News that, to me, links to the prophet Ezekiel’s foretelling of the Gog-Magog war continues to bring into focus precursor stage setting for that assault on end-times Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, at the same time, is scheduled to meet with a new U.S. president whose pre-election rhetoric and post-election actions almost certainly lay groundwork that will drive a wedge between America and the people God calls His chosen. The movement away from Israel by the American administration and the international community inflicting a destructive peace process upon Israel is a prescription for disaster.
Russia, the nation to the uttermost north of Jerusalem, is making noises of intention to exert hegemony over all things pertaining to gas and oil energy within its sphere of influence. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev made his nation’s intention known in conjunction with the United Nations’ issuing a deadline for countries wanting to make claims for sea bed gas and oil deposits, particularly in the Arctic region…more..
Nasrallah Places His Hizballah on War Preparedness

During a videotaped speech haranguing Israel for staging threatening military maneuvers, Hizballah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah Monday night, May 18, ordered the call-up of reserves and placed his terrorist militia on a state of war preparedness.
Earlier, our military sources reported that Hizballah was exploiting the alleged flight of suspected Israeli spies from Lebanon across the border into Israel to drum up border tension.
In Lebanon’s over-heated pre-election climate, government security forces reported that Elie al-Hayek, 49, a mathematics professor from Qleia, who walks on crutches, fled to Israel on Monday, May 18, with his wife and three children. Hayek and family are said to have crossed the border at a point between the villages of Yarun and Romish in Lebanon and the Israeli kibbutz Baram.
Hizballah’s Al Manar TV claimed that two more suspected spies escaped Monday and several last week. Beirut has lodged a complaint with UNIFIL headquarters at Naqoura and demanded the escapees’ extradition. Middle East sources report that the Lebanese media are in the grip of spy mania, which is exploited by the different parties running for parliament on June 7 to boost their chances…more..
